K-Doubles Take: What it means to me to be going to WM31!!...

As a child I sat in my living room and eagerly anticipated watching the 1st ever PPV that the WWE had put together (I watched it on VHS because we didn’t have PPV the way we do now). I was a longtime fan having watched greats like Junk Yard Dogg and the Million Dollar Man go at it on shows like “Saturday Night Main Event” and “WWF Superstars. This was supposed to be the biggest card ever. Headed by the main event that featured Hulk Hogan and Mr. T facing off against the tough guys Rowdy Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. As I watched this spectacular card that was WM1 I looked at my friend and told him that if Mainia ever came to my coast (I lived in the East Bay at the time) that I would have to find a way to go. Throughout the years there have been chances to go to the grandest stage of them all, in other locations. I had to pass because of two reasons, 1. Lack of cash and 2. I knew eventually they had to bring the show out this way….

Almost 2 years ago I found out that the 1st part of my dream was coming true. The San Francisco 49ers (My favorite football team) was building a new stadium and that stadium was in play to host WM31. Then only a few months later I found out that they won the bid and would be hosting WM 31 at Levi Stadium!! Then came the second part that was provided to me by my good friend and co host on the RAW IMPACT Unleashed, Ya Boy Cole informed me on air that I would be going with him to the greatest PPV ever created and that I would be able to fulfill a lifelong dream thanks to good friends and a little patience. So that’s how I feel about that. Check back next week as I tell you about what it was like to actually attend WM 31…

TRIU: RAW IMPACT Segment of the Week!! 3/16/15…

Over the past couple of weeks the focus of the WWE shows has been on the other major feuds going on during the Road to Wrestlemainia. Feuds like the HH vs Sting feud that heated up this past weekend as Sting appeared on RAW to take some vengeance on HHH. There is also the feud that they desperately are trying to get over and that’s the WWE World Heavyweight Championship feud between current champ Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. The moment that we are going to focus on this week is the closing moments of RAW this past week…

After setting up Randy Orton to believe that Seth Rollins had alienated every member of the Authority, and had no back up or help for his main event match. Rollins flipped the script and brought out all of the members of the authority to jump Orton. As the moment got tense and Orton stood in the ring solo with only him and a chair, the lights went out and Stings music hit. When the lights came on there stood the Icon back to back with Orton and wielding his signature bat. They proceed to kick ass and take names and clear the ring. Creating one of the greatest closes to RAW that I have seen in recent memory. I thank Sting, I thank Orton and most of all I thank WWE. This was my favorite moment so far on the RTW and its our segment of the week…

K-Double’s Take: Why The Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt at WM31 is the right move…

Well I know for a fact that most people in the wrestling world are looking forward to this match. What I’m going to tell you is why this was the right move by the WWE!! Last year the WWE had one of the hottest young superstars in the wrestling world. His name?...Bray Wyatt…Bray had built his way to the top with the Wyatt Family. He purposes himself to be a prince of darkness, a man that was comfortable in places other people would not. As his legend grew and his family shrunk Wyatt seemed to get a little more crazy and the writers kept looking for solid opponents for this kid. He feuded with everyone from Chris Jericho to John Cena and he came out victorious most of the time…

So in comes Undertaker…well sort of for the past 6-8 weeks we have seen promo after promo of Bray Wyatt calling out someone. Up till the WWE Fast Lane PPV we didn’t know who old crazy Bray was talking to. Then the infamous promo at Fast Lane in which he revealed who he was calling out and that was the dead man himself the Undertaker. So far this has been an amazing feud and Bray is the perfect opponent for Taker after ending the streak last year. The reason why is because Bray is young which means that Taker can control the pace of the match and put the young man over and have Bray looking strong even in a possible loss. I will end this the same way I started it by saying for most people none of this matters, this is getting to watch the Undertaker at WrestleMainia…

TRIU Match of the Week: Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker at WM25…

Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker at WM25 (4/05/09, Houston,TX)

Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker at WM25: In what was effectively the match of the century 2 of the best to ever step into the ring. Shawn Michaels was the man for years he had put on matches that most pro wrestlers could only dream of. The Undertaker had been the flagship of the company for as long as I could remember,, he also had never lost at the big one. This brutal match told a story about 2 men who wanted it more than anyone on the planet. I remember acknowledging after watching it for the 1st time that I had just seen the best wrestling match of my lifetime and as I sit here re-watching it, I find that I feel the same. So the only thing I can say is if you haven’t seen this match watch it and tell me if you feel the same…

KDouble’s Take: Who should Randy Orton face at WM31???

This year was a particularly weird year for Orton being that he didn’t face many people on live television. He was put down by the Authority in late December and hadn’t been seen on WWE TV till the Fast Lane PPV. In that time he was out shooting a movie an then injured for a period of time. After he returned from injury it was like a month before he reinjured himself and took till now to get back into TV world. Now that he is back I will take a look at who the Viper should face off with on the grandest stage of the all…

Seth Rollins (Most Likely…): Rollins is the most likely candidate to face off with Randy at WM31. He has the history as the one who hit the final blow, on Orton to put him out back in December. So with that being said I am waiting for Orton to turn completely on Rollins to create the necessary friction to allow a match at Mainia. Now they could set them up in a tag match at WM and have it lead to a singles match at the next PPV but for now I see it being Rollins v Orton at WM31…

Kane or Big Show (Possible but not likely…): I could see that in the process of trying to get to Rollins, Randy could start a feud with either of these two behemoths. Kane and Big Show have shown in recent weeks that they don’t like Randy and don’t trust him being back with the Authority. So that could easily lead to some tension and spark a match between Orton and either Kane or Big Show or both…

Daniel Bryan (Why not??...): Just like it says here why not, both Bryan and Orton don’t have opponents yet for WM31. Why not have them face each other!!! It makes total sense both of these guys can go and have already given us some of the best matches we have seen in recent memory. Remember there is the beef from last year’s triple threat match for the title. So will it happen??...NO!! But would I want to see it??? YES! YES! YES!....
