KDoubles Take: Who is winning the rest of the matches at this year’s Royal Rumble PPV…

Now this year’s Royal Rumble is not the most exciting other than the main event and the WHC triple threat match. Another reason for the lack of excitement is that this is only a 6 match card, that’s including the pre show match!! It’s the smallest card I have seen in recent memory, I have already gave you my predictions for the top matches in the PPV now it’s time for the rest…

(Pre Show) The New Day vs. Cesaro, Tyson Kidd and Adam Rose in a 6 Man Elimination Tag Match:  In a feud that kind of came out of nowhere about a month or two ago. But alas we have another feud for the newest trio to spring into the WWE… The New Day. I like the new group but I don’t know what direction they are going in or who they could feud with. But this match should be a good one considering it will be a elimination 6 man tag match. As for who will win?? Well…

Winners: The New Day (Kofi, Big E & Xavier Woods)

Paige & Natalya vs. the Bella Twins in a Diva’s Tag Team Match: This was another match that seemed to just be thrown together with a 4 week feud. Now I do believe that some of this “feud” has played out on Total Diva’s a show I’m not to familiar with. But I can say that watching Paige is always a pleasure and I can’t wait to see what these four turn out. As far as the winner?? Well...

Winners: The Bella Twins (©Nikki & Brie)

The New Age Outlaws vs. the Ascension in a Tag Team Match: Now this is one of those feuds that make me happy. For the past few weeks we have had to deal with the Ascension coming out and running down some of the greatest tag teams in history and claiming they were better. That ended last Monday night at RAW Reunion when the outlaws, APA and NWO showed them young bucks what was up. That led to this match that I see going to??...

Winners: The Ascension (Konner & Viktor)

TRIU Classic Match of the Week: Summer Slam 1995 Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon for the IC title in a Ladder Match…

Summer Slam 1995

Ladder Match for the IC Title (Razor Ramon vs. Shawn Michaels): As a young man in 1995 (I was 18yrs old) I remember watching this match and wondering if these two guys were genuinely trying to hurt each other. This was during the beginning of the start of the Attitude Era. Shawn Michaels was the man but leading up to the match I found myself rooting for the “Bad Guy”, Michaels was a Pre Madonna who irritated me with every promo. Razor was just the guy to put him in his place, and he did as he pounded on Shawn with his fist and the Ladder that he was given. I remember one of the announcers saying this is the “Best match I have seen in my life!!” Looking back this is easily top 3 on any list I would make. An Amazing story was told that night in August and it was told by two of the best in the game; At a time when they were both at the top of their game…

Winner and STILL IC Champion: © Shawn Michaels

KDoubles Take: Who will win the WWE Tag Team Title Match at this year’s Royal Rumble???

Tag Team Title Match: © The Uso’s vs. Miz & Mizdow

This is a rematch from a couple of weeks ago when the Uso’s dethroned the reigning Champs and became the 2 time WWE Tag Team Champions. The ensuing back and forth has involved a couple of different tag teams thrown into the mix but the Uso’s have remained on top….

95% Chance (©The Uso’s ): This team of brothers have been the cream of the crop when it comes to tag teams in the WWE in recent years. Last year they won the Slammy for TTOY and held onto the WWE Tag Titles for a good portion of 2014. This year they opened the year again with a Slammy win for TTOY and are once again Tag Team Champions. This run isn’t over till at least Wrestlemania so I don’t see them dropping the belts at the Rumble…

50% Chance (Miz and Mizdow): The combination of Miz and Sandow was pure genius by the creative team at WWE. But the gimmick has run its course and even though Mizdow still gets major cheers from the crowd. The Miz is starting to wear on the WWE Universe, so I don’t see this lasting much longer I expect a match between the two on the card at WM31. So a run with the titles is out…

Winners and STILL WWE Tag Team Champions: The Uso’s!!

TRIU: Monday Night RAW Review 1/19/15…

Dallas, TX

Hour 1

Video Package: Video honoring Martin Luther Kings Birthday, showing a slide show of all important black Americans

We open with Michael Cole reminding us all that it is RAW reunion night and there would be legends here. Brock Lesnar music hits and he and Paul Heyman hit the ring, Brock looks pissed. Brock takes the mic from Heyman and calls out Seth Rollins. Of course Rollins doesn’t come out instead we get HHH. After HHH and Lesnar almost come to blows out comes Stephanie comes out with Show and Kane. They all banter back and forth before Seth Rollins shows up on the titantron to antagonize Brock. Of course we are then joined by John Cena who proclaims he will win at the Rumble. The Authority then begins to rundown Cena and blames him for Ryback, Ziggler and Rowand losing their jobs back. Then after Cena again proclaims victory at the Rumble, HHH offers up a match for tonight where if Cena wins the 3 fired superstars get their jobs back. But if Cena loses then he is out of the match for the WHC at the Rumble. Up next Daniel Bryan is back and taking on Bray Wyatt!!!...

Bray Wyatt def Daniel Bryan via pin fall in a singles match: This was another classic match between Wyatt and Bryan. Both men destroyed their bodies and gave us a good match. Kane came to ringside about midway through the match and ended up getting involved. Kane rams Bryan into the ringside to weaken him for Wyatt, who takes advantage and hits “Sister Abigail” for the win. After the match Kane attacks Bryan and beats on him to weaken him even more for their match on Smackdown…

We come back to HHH, Scott Hall and Nash hanging out backstage before being joined by HBK. When Nash asks about X Pac out jumps Damien Sandow dressed like X Pac, then the real Waltman walks out and they have a great mirror moment and Sean says Sandow is hired. Miz then steps in and says that Sandow is his stunt double and instructs Sandow to go get dressed. At the end the legends stand and laugh at Miz as HHH shakes his head in shame. Up Next is the Legends panel, after some commercials….

Hour 2

It looks like Byron Saxon is hosting the Legends Panel and first out is Hulk Hogan!!! Next up is the Nature Boy Ric Flair, Whooooo!!! And finally we get the “Show Stopper”, “Mr. Wrestlemaina” “HBK” Shawn Michaels!!! Saxon questions the Legends on things from the 3 fired superstars to their Royal Rumble memories…After they are asked for their RR picks (HBK, RF: Dean Ambrose, HH: DBryan) we are joined by the Big Show. Show comes out and ridicules the legends and says they are all jealous of him, and that no one in the rumble can put him over the top rope. He then asks the legends to get out the ring before he throws them out, Ric Flair then steps and attacks Show before he gets knocked out. At this point Roman Reigns music hits as Reigns hits the ring. Show tells him to get out the ring and Reigns attacks him and drops him over the top rope. We now go back stage to see if Cena will compete in the stip match for tonight and the WWE Universe says Yes!! Cena then cuts a promo on the WWE Universe and how he is going to win tonight. Up next IC Champ Wade Barrett against Dean Ambrose!!!...

Dean Ambrose def © Bad News Barrett in a singles, non title match: Another great match between two of the WWE’s up and coming young stars. Ambrose was dominated for the 1st half of the match before finding a way to fight back and get the upper hand on Barrett. Ambrose reverses Wastelands into Dirty Deeds and pins the champ for the win…

Video Package: A Royal Rumble by the numbers promo is shown…

The New Day (Kofi and Big E) def Tyson Kidd and Cesaro in a Tag Match: Of course Adam Rose and the Rosebuds were at ringside. This was a good match with a lot of high spots and crowd pleasers. Kofi ends up getting the pin after hitting a move off the top rope. Postmatch the Rosebuds were celebrating with the New Day and Adam Rose seemed upset. Up next we get the NWO (Nash, Hall and Pac)…

Hour 3

We then come to the ring and the NWO is in the ring. They cut a promo about how great they are and each one of them get to have their moment. Right as X Pac was about to speak they are interrupted and joined in ring by the Ascension. The Ascension then begins to run down the legends and say that they are going to put them down. The JBL gets up from the desk and brings in Ron Simmons to face off with the Ascension.  Before they can attack we are joined by the New Age Outlaws who jump in the ring and begin the beat down and leave the Ascension lying in the ring as the legends stand over them…

We come back to HHH and Stephanie telling the WWE Universe who Cena’s opponent will be for his all or nothing match. 1st they announce Seth Rollins, then they announce Big Show and finally announce Kane!!! Cena will face all 3 in a handicap match for the 3 fired superstars jobs and his shot at the WHC at RR. A trumpet player plays the death march as the Authority walks away!! Up next a Diva’s Tag Match between Paige and Natalya against Summer Rea and Alicia Fox…

Natalya and Paige def Alicia Fox and Summer Rea by Submission in a Diva’s Tag Match: This was a classic diva’s match and the girls gave us something worth watching. With the Bella Twins watching Natty and Paige were pretty dominant and finished strong with Foxy tapping out to the PTO. After the match the girls faced off with the Bella’s at ringside. Up Next US Champ Rusev taking on R-Truth!!!...

US Champ Rusev def R-Truth via Submission in a singles match: Truth came out and talked a bunch mess to Rusev about how every American wrestler in the company will be looking for him at RR. Then Truth puts up a good fight, even knocks Rusev over the top rope. As soon as Rusev got the upper hand it was minutes before Truth was tapping. We are now backstage where Lesnar is confronting Rollins. Up next half of the tag champs Jay Uso takes on the Miz…

Tag Team Champ Jey Uso def The Miz in a singles match: This match was pretty fun to watch, any match involving Mizdow is always a great match to watch. But the content of this match wasn’t very exciting; in the end Miz gets flattened and hit with the top rope splash for the pin and the win. Up next our main event the 3 on 1 handicap match….

John Cena def Kane, Rollins and Big Show in a 3 on 1 Handicap Match: With the Authority at ringside and interfering at every chance that they get. It took the appearance of a wrestling legend to help the leader of the Cenation get the win. Sting first appears on the Titan Tron and then on the ramp and this allows Cena to roll up Rollins and get the win!! Cena exits through the crowd and HHH throws a tantrum and calls out Sting!!! Then out comes Lesnar and he is pissed, He attacks Rollins and is pulled off by Show and Kane. Lesnar F5’s Kane and goes after Rollins again, when Show pulls him off Lesnar hits Show with a F5. Rollins gets away and Lesnar is left in the ring pissed…

Overall Rating: A+ (1st ever appearance of Sting on RAW!!!)

KDoubles Take: Who will win the triple threat at RR and walk out WWE WHC???

Now this is something that will be up for debate for years. The reason why I say that is because all three men have reasons as to why they deserve to win the WWE WHC. You start with Rollins and his rise to the top in the WWE has been expeditious to say the least. He has all the talent in the world but I just don’t think he is ready to take on the road to WM run with the title. Now John Cena is the grizzled veteran and this would be his 16th title run if he was to win. Do we think that WWE will pop that cherry this early in the year?? Look we will see Cena win the big #16 this year but I don’t think that it will happen this soon. Now obviously the favorite is the “Beast Encarnate”…

95% Chance (Brock Lesnar): The reason why I say that Lesnar is the favorite is because I believe that he will be the incumbent champion going into this years WM. In order to do that he has to continue to win despite the odds set in front of him, this time those odds are in the form of Cena and Rollins. But I believe that the Beast will pound both Cena and Rollins and at the end of the day will walk out of the RR with the title…

75% Chance (John Cena): Now once again I give Cena a punchers chance like I do in any PPV title match. Let’s take a look at how Cena got here after losing the belt to Lesnar he then lost out on his second opportunity because of Seth Rollins. The only reason why Rollins is in this match is because the Authority wants to make sure that Cena doesn’t leave with the belt on that fateful Sunday…

50% Chance (Seth Rollins): This one is hard for me to say because I could see Rollins walking out of the match with the belt. My first thought is that Rollins is merely n the match to prevent Cena from pulling off the upset. In recent weeks the WWE has made Rollins look really strong. But strong enough to make a legit champ?? That’s where I part ways with most, they will tease Rollins winning the belt a couple of times but at the end of the day that winner can only be…

Winner and STILL WWE World Heavyweight Champion: Brock Lesnar…

KDoubles Take: Who should win the 2015 Royal Rumble??...

This year should be one of the more interesting years in Royal Rumble history. There will only be 30 participants and amongst them will be the likes of Sheamus, Kane, Big Show and more. So the field will be extremely tight, today we will take a look at who I think are the favorites and the ones I feel deserve a shot at the WM31 main event. First up of course is one of the top odds on favorites, the “Yes” Man himself Daniel Bryan…

90% Chance (Daniel Bryan): I know that there are a lot of people that will say that I am just marking out here. But I think that Bryan has a legitimate shot at winning the Rumble. He will most likely come in somewhere around the middle of the pack. Expect a good showing, though he also deserves it which is not a popular opinion since he spent almost half of last year on the sidelines. I would be inclined to agree had he not spent the better part of 2013 being the Authorities bitch before getting his big moment at WM30!! Then the injury bug hits and his title run is cut short, I think that he deserves to have that moment again and having him win the Rumble is one way to do it…

85% Chance (Roman Reigns): This is another case of “He spent most of the year on the sidelines” and I can see where those people are coming from. In my opinion though Reigns was one of the hottest things going before he got hurt, so I will say it like this if Seth Rollins end’s up winning the WWE WHC in the triple threat main event…then it would only make sense to have Reigns win the Rumble to set up the 2 facing off at WM31. I am not as sure of this as I am Bryan though…

75% Chance (Returning Ryback, Ziggler or Rowand): It is widely suspected that the Big 3 that were fired on Monday Night RAW just a couple of weeks ago. Will be returning as surprise entrants in this year’s RR. So I wouldn’t put it past HHH and Steph to throw us a curve ball and give us one of these three as the winner. Now I cant really give you a strong case for Ryback and Rowand. But Ziggler is a whole different game if there is anyone who deserves it, it is the Show off who has been through hell in recent years and came through it looking spotless…

Winner will be: Daniel Bryan (Will meet © Brock Lesnar at WM31)
